On the nameplate you find your  model number. You type it on our web site and we will provide you all the cross reference motors.

You can find them on the nameplate (See above question regarding nameplate). The electrical specs are: HP, Volts, Amps, RPMS, Service Factor/SF, Number of Speeds, Rotation and Phase

You have to check for the frame size. If it’s not there, measure the diameter and length of the motor and the shaft. Also it is important to note whether the motor is single or double shaft.

It can be rigid base, belly band, thru –bolts, resilient base, etc.

In simple terms it is how your motor is protected/enclosed. You can verify this by looking for openings on the body of the motor or a cooling fan attached to the back of the motor.

Is it ODP (open drip proof), TEAO (totally enclosed air over), TEFC (totally enclosed fan cooled), etc?

You also have to check if your motor requires special protection (washdown duty, hazardous location, etc).

You can check whether your bearings are sleeve or ball. Also what type of motor it is (capacitor start, permanent split capacitor, shaded pole, etc.).
